My husband Nick, myself & our German Shepherd Bastian are regular visitors to Weston. The first time we visited The Lounge we were very suprised that they did not mind us taking Bastian in with us. Not only did they get him some water but made such a fuss of him. All the staff are wonderful so friendly everytime now we visit the resort we eat at the Bistro. To be perfectly honest we would not eat elsewhere. We ate there again last night & honestly the welcome, the food, the service you wouid not get better in a top restaurant in the West End. A big, big thankyou to Carl & all the team for such a wonderful time. 10/10

I was visiting weston with my little girl age 6yo we were on the beach and feet covered in mud but when we called at the lounge it was not a problem so we took our shoes off relaxed with nice background music and ordered fish and chips and tea thats all,but the service we received was fantastic the food was the best i have have had the price was well worth it, even my little girl smiled and said she loved the fish and chips so much so that she nearly ate a whole portion off a main meal not a childs portion and believe me they are not small so i will gladly be back, thankyou so much you made our day also my little girl loved the care you all gave her once again thankyou see you soon D

I have now visited your restaurant twice, once for a taster night and more recently for our Christmas work party.

Both occasions were lovely - really nice atmosphere and more importantly the food was fantastic.

Cant wait to visit again.

26th October 2011. I turned up with a friend and my 10 year old son. Immediately felt relaxed and welcomed although we weren't exactly dressed for dinner!! All the team were so friendly but, as others have said, without being overpowering. I've had meals all over the world in my travelling days and I have to say this was the best. Portions were exactly right, great choice and quality without pretension. I live at a distance and won't be able to return for some time but will definately come back when I can!

Mum and I stopped in for lunch unexpectedly. What a fantastic place - I couldn't fault the service or quality of food. Everything was freshly prepared and delicious. They have a diverse menu selection, which, for me as a vegetarian, was wonderful. You would be hard pushed to find anything comparable in Weston-super-Mare, both in terms of quality and value for money. The Lounge Cafe & Bistro is a real find.

It was mid afternoon and the children were getting a little hungry so we looked for somewhere suitable to take them.

We chose your cafe, completely unaware of it's 'origins' until this evening when I checked out the website (we took a family photo outside and I noticed your website details).

I can't emphasise enough how much we thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. We have never eaten in a restaurant where we didn't want to leave ! The atmosphere was welcoming, homely and hospitable. We felt as if we had been invited for dinner. Karl took genuine interest in our children and they roamed around the place as if they were part of 'the family'.

The irony of this is that we have two children with special needs. Not initially noticeable but none-the-less challenging for us as parents.
The whole eating experience we enjoyed was alien to us. Usually we struggle with the children but on this occasion we didn't.

We now know why !

We wanted to express our deep gratitude to your staff for making our day so special. The food was excellent too. Each dish was hand made and cared for. And extremely tasty.

We will be visiting again and have already recommended others to visit and support you.

Wow! what a great place to go and eat at. was anxious as never been before but the owner soon put me and my partner at ease. the location might put you off, especially the bars on either side of this restaurant, but it is well worth a visit. food was so tasty, fresh, good quality and plenty of it, with great attention to detail gone into both the cooking of and presentation of it too. All the staff are friendly and they work very well together as a team. If you are looking for a place to eat where you can chill out (there's some really comfy leather sofas as well as a reasonable sized decked area outside the front) and relax with excellent food, service and atmosphere, and a lovely view if sat outside, then this is definitely worth a visit. we went on an evening, and we were not disappointed at all, and could quite happily have stayed til closing time. keep up the excellent work and delicious food! I'll be back for more of it another day!

What a fantastic place as other reviewers have said this an outstanding place for an informal dinner with really fine food and wine with friendly service. I wish some other restaurant owners would take lessons from The Lounge Cafe & Bisro I particularly liked the selection of starters and main courses. I was spoilt for choice. Desserts were excellent too

Possibly the best place we have ever eaten at. We found it by chance on a weekend break in Weston. The food is second to none-absolutely delicious. The chefs are creative using new ways to cook old favourites. We guarantee that once tried you will be going back for more-we did, every day for the 4 days we were there. We enjoyed it so much we are planning a trip from Birmingham just to eat there. Karl and all the staff are absolutely brilliant, welcoming and attentive without being intrusive. Even the chefs come and ask how everything is. It has a relaxed atmosphere, with soft relaxing music you can even relax on the comfy sofas for your dessert and coffee. We recommend that the people of Weston should make it the most popular place in Weston.

Paid for a voucher from Social Living @ £15 for 2 Adult mains and 1 child. What great value for money, the service was excellent, and Karl was brilliant with our 20 month old who took to him with all smiles. The food is good and filling. Would return and recommend to our friends. Well worth a visit.

Wow, What a great Place! Purchased a Living Social Deal just to give it a try and so glad we did! Food is excellent, with service to match. Khan the owner is charming and helpful. The whole place is very child friendly (but not in a tacky kind of way); they gave the children cushions at the table, offered to cook them extra food if they wanted any more and even gave them a craft pack to keep them occupied while they were waiting!! Its a very relaxed place, so not the place to go if you're in a hurry, but for a chill out meal, of excellent quality with exceptional service, you'd go a long way to beat it. We'll definitely be going back!

We visited your lovely bistro yesterday for lunch and I felt I had to let other people know about you! You have found a way of making the atmosphere casual and friendly while serving fantastic food in a really super environment. There is many a restaurantaur that could learn from Karl and the team who were so very attentive yet not at all overbearing. Full of praise, thank you.

We discovered this absolutely brilliant little place on the first day of our holiday and never went anywhere else, we ate there every day!!!! The food is out of this world and reasonably priced. What can we say about Karl and the rest of the staff? Words cannot describe how warm and welcoming they are. Excellent service, you are not rushed, and like to get to know their customers without being intrusive. It has community run projects during the day and we made cards with the locals while we waited for our lunch one afternoon, which was a really good experience. People of Weston and holidaymakers please do not pass this great place by. It has everything, fine dining, relaxing and comfortable atmosphere, a great host, great staff, wonderful and creative chefs, or just a relaxlng coffee/tea and cake on the sofas whilst admiring the sea view. What a venue, did not expect to find somewhere like this in weston. The food is spot on, and the service is equally good. The owner of the place is really friendly and charming. We only went in for a coffee but ended up staying for dinner. After dinner lounging on the sofa overlooking the seaviews was the best experience ever. You need to check the place over before it gets too well known.

What a delightful little place. Ambience is pleasant and without the usual loud music (soft and pleasent instead) the staff were attentive and very polite. The food is great with a good choice and well priced. They have two small lounge areas either side of the main entrance at the front of the dining where you can relax in comfortable leather sofa's should you wish to just have coffee. Highly recomend and will most defintely return again and again. DON'T go past and miss out.

Our family purchased a living socal voucher for dinner for 4 at the lounge. It was one of the best values for money nights out ever. The food was delicious; the service was attentive but not intruding. We will definately return soon, even paying full price it’s more than worth it.The only bad point I can think of was the wobbly table, but I’m really just nit-picking.

Came across ths cafe by chance, and I am so glad I did. What a wonderful location and ambiance. The food was absoloutely wonderful and freshly made. I have been there twice since my first visit and both the times me and my husband have enjoyed ourselves very much. The staff are really friendly and will do anything to make your experience a good one. Will recommand to friends and family without any hesitation. Keep up the good work Lounge team. Well done
